Even in the bad economy today, there are still low APR credit cards out there. You just need to know where to find them. Low interest cards are great for those that are looking to put a huge balance on a card or simply don’t plan on paying it off. Instead, of paying a high interest rate, why not transfer your balances to something lower?

With the economy dwindling like it is, credit card companies are actually lowering their rates. What does this mean for you?

It means that you’re going to be paying less on your unpaid balances. One to two percent may not sound like a lot but this can literally save you thousands if you have a very large balance.

The process isn’t that hard. This is the easiest way to go in my opinion because instead of going card to card and site to site, you’re just wasting your time.

What I would recommend to you to use sites like those that compare to your advantage. Most of them are very user friendly and help you compare and find the card that you’re looking for. But remember, even if you find a low APR card, it’s always important to try and pay it in full so that you don’t have to pay any interest charges at all.
